How to reboot a remote computer by command ?

Network administrators sometimes need to reboot a computer without login on using remote desktop or probably the remote desktop doesn't work.

Now if both computers belong to the domain you logon in one computer using domain admin credentials and from command prompt you type the following command:

shutdown /m \\machine-name -r -f -t 0

/m - You are telling the next word is the machine name

\\machine-name - or ip address like \\192.168.1.10

-r - Reboot

-f - Force - this is very important in case you have any application open in the remote machine/server

-t - Time could be 0 for immediately of any time in seconds.
